from 70 reviewsSecond battery is good backup—alternate use. Can I also get second DC power cord and remote for my N2 machine. The N2 machine is great—very satisfied!
I considered a simpler machine with an extra oscillator, but I preferred having horizontal movement built in. The N3 feels cleaner as one complete setup, especially for footwork drills.
I love this little machine! I will preface this review by stating I'm more of a baseline player. That being said, I find it the machine intuitive to use and the app did have a long range. I was able to pause from the baseline with my app. You do have lots of control of the ball with the app, honestly I'm still learning all I can do with ball control and the app. The remote, I found needed the full extension on the antenna for the signal to reach the machine.
At first I thought that having the external batter would be a bit of a pain, but honestly I like it now. What I have found that I'm doing is taking the battery in for recharge and I leave the machine in my car, ready to go. I have found the batter life to be long enough for me. I usually do a one hour practice session every other day, I usually need to charge my battery once a week.
The Nisplay N3 is very portable. I could easily lift it in and out of my car and LOVED being able to wheel it onto the court!
If you are trying to decided between the Nisplay 1, 2, or 3, I highly recommend the three! The 3 already has an oscillating feature built in and this is what really gives you great ball return variety. This ball machine... 10 out of 10, highly recommend
Perfect for tune ups
We really like the ball machine! Initially, I misunderstood how it worked and plugged it directly into an AC wall outlet, so it didn't turn on. After reaching out to support, they explained that it runs on 12V DC (battery power only). If you want to use a standard power outlet, you need to purchase a separate 12V DC converter. Other than that initial confusion, we love how it operates.
This N3 model is awesome! It's very compact. You can easily customize the drills you want. I'm glad i bought this latest model. Customer service, definitely exceptional.
I bought a N1 with oscillator. I love the machine so much, it is light weight with external battery, easy to carry and use. At first the machine only can hold 80 balls, it is less than I wanted, so I called the support team , Daniel the guy from support team told me to use cardboards to increase the height of the holder, now it can hold 145 balls, still running very well, no jamming at all. The only cons is the launch angle knob, it is a bit annoying to just it. Well how often I need to change the angle? So I am very satisfied about this product. It is a BUY BUY BUY!
I only have good things to say about Nisplay customer service. I had some problems with the machine, and I may be at least partially to blame, but I dealt with a young man named Danny who is very customer service oriented. He was very accessible and helpful. He got me a new unit in record time, and it is now functioning perfectly. I previously bought a lower-end Spin Shot machine which refused to shoot out balls after one session. Their team was not nearly as responsive, so I returned it. I like this machine much better, even though it is less expensive because it’s lighter, it actually has a remote, and the batteries external, which means you can swap it out easily if you need more juice. Even though it’s lighter, it’s just as powerful.
Totally in love 🙌🏾💕with my Nisplay tennis machine ! I tried a couple of other machines on Amazon and returned them, but this one is a clear 5-star keeper for me! It feels like having my own coach on court! Super easy to carry, quick to set up, and the ball feed is super consistent. My strokes and confidence have gone up so much since I started using it☺️ Definitely a 5-star product from me!
This is a great little machine! I was skeptical about buying an unknown brand but customer service was very prompt in answering my questions before purchase. I have used it 13 or 14 time so far and have had no problems. The balls have never jammed. Once in a while there was a delay in ball launch but no manual intervention was required and the misfire corrected itself each time. I did not buy the oscillator. I alternate between forehand and backhand shots and get a good workout. I try not to change the ball launch angle too much. Instead, I move the machine forward or back to the baseline depending on whether I want to practice ground strokes or lobs. The external battery is a big plus as well. I find it is best to charge the battery right after each use. I vacuum the machine to remove debris or green lint from the balls that collects in the machine. I am in my sixties and find this machine very light and useful in practicing a wide range of shots. I have purchased other ball machines but have had problems when the balls jammed. I have not had problems with this one so I am giving it 5 stars.
This machine is a beast . Been using this almost everyday for 2 months now stop . Consistent , good build , great app functions . Love it
Really fun machine for practicing shots. Battery life is great. It’s not too heavy and it’s very easy to set up. The ball speed is a bit slow, but maybe because I set the machine for topspin? Overall, I am really pleased with the machine.
Using it for a while. I am enjoying the product. I don’t know how their service will be in situations. But this is a well build product.
I bought one and have used it regularly for over a year. This is a well-made and reliable ball thrower. Using it, my game has improved dramatically, and it helps me stay in shape. I use it at least once a week during the warm months. A legitimately good product!
I haven’t played tennis in 30 years and wanted to start anew with a tennis ball machine. The court I hit on is a 5 minute walk for me to I wanted a portable machine like this one. It is the perfect size. The settings are easy to dial in what you want to do. Height, speed, top spin or back spin, and rate of delivery. It’s very fun and has made regaining my stroke very comfortable. I am completely happy with this machine and I hope it lasts a long time.
It is not so heavy, easy to carry around, it's super compact compared to other machines I look at online. The features are fantastic: speed, time, spin, remote control, and angle all work very wellSpeedCan make the launch very strong when at max speed. Depending on where you place the machine, that can be super powerful, like a string real personTimeIt gives you great control for your drill as you can speed up the pace or go slow enough so you can brief between shots.SpinBoth Topspin and Backspin work like a charm. Max spin will not be so powerful as the flat launch though. Because you will have one motor speed at max and the other at minimum, while the flat launch will use max speed for both. But it is still pretty good. The remoteIt is super helpful if you want to pause/start a drill for any reason. So you don't waste time and ball launches walking to the machine to pause/start your training session. But that's it, play/pause features only.AngleIt has a good angle range, the not-so-nice part is how you adjust it.You have to use a small dial to set the angle you want. That's a- slow process- the dial is somewhat hard to turn- it's not clear what angle you are at. The angle "indicator pin" near the angle marks is big (e.g it takes the space from 40 to 50 degrees mark)BatteryI have used the machine for 3 or 4 sessions of 1 hour each and the battery is still showing 100% charged, so that's good.It comes with a little nice case for the battery too, which is super helpful to carry it around and put it to charge separately from the machine. The battery finish looks like a prototype though. With loose cables and the battery level tester kind of improvised attached to it.Overall I really liked it

I am very satisfied with the tennis machine. Although there are something need to be improved, it is enough for me. It is very convenient, small and light, it also can hold at least 80 balls.I will recommend it to other friends if possible.
Disclaimer: I have Spinshot Player and also had Tennis Tutor ball machines, so I have a pretty good basis for comparison.1. The good:Relatively light and compactMetal flaps for ball tray do not break or get flimsysolid construction (except for what shown on the pictures)External battery (good for those who need to drive to the court)Good Lithium battery with long lasting chargeSimple analog controls, shoot/pause tiny remoteDecent balls for beginner/ intermediateReasonably priced (partly due to limited options)2.The not so goodMAX ball speed and ball capacity is slightly exaggerated limiting use for advanced playerWhile launching the balls machine slides and rotates changing the horizontal launch angel from start to finish by 30 degrees or more.Plastic supports for the handle on the bottom of the box do not allow the machine to roll tilted by more than 10 degrees making clearing even tiny hurdles or rugs problematicIf the manufacturer cannot drill holes in more or less precise locations the designer should've used oblong holes (see pictures)
I actually improved the base and the machine with this example of securing them together with Velcro. Please note that with this extra simple fix the machine is absolutely perfect. I want to thank them personally with a quick response working together to better the quality of use.
I tried slinger ball machine before buying this one. This one is more solidly built and performs decently. It is good for hitting from a stationary position. The rotation plate sits under the ball machine and does not hold the machine in place while moving left to right as a result the ball machine slips and will fall after sometime. I also noticed that ball return is inconsistent and will end up in the fence or outside the court. See my video. This was the reason why I returned it. Seller will charge you 15% restocking fee Incase you decide to return.

It shoots one direction only but it’s a very strong machine. It’s well built
I was little nervous about spending this much o a ball machine, but compared to how much some of them cost, it was very reasonably priced. When it arrived and I figured out how to use it, I was surprised at how simple it was. The battery is easy to charge, the whole thing is very portable and it works very well. I am a passable player, so using it for practicing forehand, backhand and volleys is ideal. I am already getting my money's worth out of it. For a mid-priced professional ball machine I can highly recommend it
This machine is light weight and easy to use.We have tried many other ball machines, load and unload from the trunk and move up to the stairs is the biggest challenge for the other machine with the similar functionalities. This machine is lightweight, as a woman, I can easily unload it from the car and move it to the court by myselfThis machine has all the functions needed for the tennis training, ground stroke, volley and over head.Customer service is awesome, for any question, we got response in a short time. We owned this machine for more than 6 months. Very happy with it.
I searched through lots of website for tennis machine around 1k. I decided to go for Nisplay for a shot and after 3 weeks of use for more than 10 times, I didn’t regret it.The whole machine is quite compact so I can easily fit it into my sedan trunk with all my other equipments and a basket holding 80 balls. The best part is I only need to take the battery out to my apt for recharge, saving me a lot of troubles. And connect it for usage only take like 10s.The overall build look pretty solid and good quality. It is way smaller other tennis ball machine out in the market but still hold the same power.Bad part? I don’t know other machines. This one, for a whole basket like 80 balls, it would usually get jam for 3-4 times. But it has 3 holes for holding the ball, so I never need to manually correct the ball machine. Just wait out the empty shot and it’s good to go for next ball.
Very solid built and has been working excellent so far. It has been 15 days and so far my kids and me would have played 20 hrs and find this very good investment.
The Tennis machine arrived with no issue. I haven't used it yet, but I hope it will satisfy me for a while. I bought the non combo one by error, but the seller agreed to give me for free an oscillator. Great seller and I will go back for more purchases in the future.
Have hit 3 days, doing 3 sets of 72 balls. So far it’s doing what I’ve expected. I took off one star for the unsettling response from Nisplay from my concern in finding loose nuts and bolts (3) in the bottom of the shipping box and loose bolt and washer inside the bottom panel of the machine.Their response:“Sorry for that, if you don’t see any missing screws from the machine, it probably some extra screws that workers left there. Then don’t worry about it.”
This product is sturdy and will last my lifetime. Easy to move. Easy to setup. Every shot I need to practice including overheads and volleys. Love it.
consistent and easy to use
Got this last week and have used it 4 times already. I got both the machine and the oscillator together. They work great, made of really solid materials, sturdy! It's lightweight, easy to put in my trunk, and easy to pull onto the court. The setup was also easy. But I gave it 4 stars b/c there are a few things that I wish they did differently, and for $1000 price tag, these seem like reasonable requests:1) The remote doesn't control the oscillator. I wish I could engage/disengage the oscillator with the remote. Instead I have to walk to the unit and turn it on/off, when I have a handy little remote in my pocket that could do it for me.2) The remote only turns on/off the rotating ball tray on top. It doesn't stop the launch wheels. I wish I could turn those off with the remote since they use most of the battery, and I want to stop them when I have to gather balls.3) I wish the remote had more buttons/controls. For example, would be nice to be able to adjust top & bottom spin and ball frequency using the remote.4) I wish I could control how wide the oscillator turned. There is no controlling this. It would be nice to have the option to narrow how wide it rotated.5) The knob that sets ball frequency is labeled by time between balls, instead of balls per minute. So for example, the highest setting (10) is the FEWEST balls, and the lowest setting (1) is the MOST balls. This is counter-intuitive. Would be nice if that worked the opposite, so the highest setting was for the MOST balls. @nisplay, if you add features to the remote, I would like to receive one.
I have only had the Nisplay tennis ball machine for about a month, but I have only have positive reviews. The tennis ball machine with and without the oscillator works great.I also had an issue with the battery, potentially caused by not correctly connecting the wires (push them on between the prongs, it requires a little muscle to get them on!). When I contacted Nisplay, I was put in touch with a very responsive contact that even called me and sent me a new battery for free, even though I may have caused the issue. Overall, I am very pleased with both the product and the customer service!
It works very well, I’ve used for 10x so far no problem, only negative thing is last ball almost always stays in back left corner. I put a washer under triangular piece in corner screw so that last ball rolls into place. Also, don’t waste your money on oscillator
This review is being written after only a month of use, but so far, the NIsplay lives up to the promise of being lightweight, easy to adjust, and a fantastic way to practice your ground strokes. The setup is quick and easy and I have found that it works well and provides a good workout. I am an intermediate player who is just getting back into the game, and love that I can practice without having to find a partner to feed balls to me. The oscillator is a nice touch to give both forehand and backhand practice, but I often only use the Nisplay just to practice one or the other, without the oscillator - especially after I get a tennis lesson and want to practice. I am sure that other ball machines, some costing over twice as much as the Nisplay, would also work well, but the price point on the Nisplay makes this a best buy in my opinion. Highly recommend this machine!
I started with the spinshot ball machine. It is an awesome tennis ball machine -it's just way to heavy to get in and out of my car. I was looking at the Proton ball machine, which was lighter, but no wheels to transport it. The Nisplay was a great solution. It's light, it has wheels, and it works well. The customer service is great. I misplaced my remote -they replaced it. My oscillator stopped working -they had me ship it back, they repaired it, and shipped it back the same day. They made everything so easy. I'm so happy with this purchase.
